We are pleased to announce our 1st ever Golf Expedition. We invite you to join us as the Northern Republic of the Emerald Isle of Ireland beckons you to play on some of the finest golf courses in the world.

Northern Ireland golf needs no introduction or fanfare. Golf Digest, Pro Golfer and Links Magazine all list Northern Ireland as one of the world’s “must play” golf destinations. This will be a true adventure of a lifetime.

Five incredible days of golf, fellowship and superior ocean front accommodations at the famed Slieve Donard resort, in Newcastle, Northern Ireland.

Our time will include an in-depth study of God’s Word, testimonies, and devotions.

Join Steve Arterburn, CEO from New Life Ministries and 15 other men on a golf adventure of a lifetime. What makes our outing different is the mixture of golf, fellowship, and teaching on the topic of fathering, marriage, and family legacy as only New Life Ministries can provide.

This “GUYS ONLY” outing is for a special group of men who share a love of golf and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. This time will allow us to minister to you as men, fathers, husbands, grandfathers and father-figures; as well as to allow us to share with you in a personal way how God is uniquely using New Life Ministries.

Slieve Donard Resort
The crown jewel in a spectacular seaside setting, the luxurious “5-Star” Slieve Donard Resort. Nestling at the foot of the Mountains of Mourne, the Slieve Donard Resort and Spa stands in six acres of immaculate private grounds. A golden strand of beach borders one side, while the mighty Royal County Down golf links frames the other. This lovingly maintained Victorian resort will be our home for the event and enjoys a spectacular location overlooking the breathtaking County Downs Irish coastline.

PORTMARNOCK Golf Club dates back to 1889 and sits majestically on a narrow tongue of shallow duneland. No other Irish course has been graced by so many distinguished players in a rich history encompassing a broad sweep of significant events. Arnold Palmer and Sam Snead successfully followed its serpentine route through classic linkland on their way to victory in the 1960 Canada Cup. And it is where another generation of Americans, including Phil Mickelson and David Duval, secured a memorable Walker Cup triumph in 1991. Ranked the #3 course in Ireland, it is considered by many as one of the fairest links courses in the world but it still delivers an incredible challenge and true test of golf.

ROYAL COUNTY DOWN voted the #1 golf course in the world by Golf Digest Magazine, Royal County Down is located in one of the world’s most naturally beautiful links settings in the Murlough Nature Reserve. Against the magnificent backdrop of the Mountains of Mourne, the links stretches along the shores of Dundrum Bay, zigzagging back and forth to provide a different vista from virtually every hole. The narrowest ribbons of fairways thread their way through as impressive a set of sand dunes as could be imagined. The fairways are surrounded by purple heather and golden gorse, so beautiful to look at but so punishing for any who may stray from the prescribed path. The ‘bearded’ bunkers are world famous and feature overhanging lips of marram, red fescue and heather. The greens are fast and many are domed, rejecting any shot lacking conviction. This is a true test of any player’s command of the traditional bump and run, the preferred way to play any links. The ninth hole is one of the most photographed holes in world golf. A 486 yard par 4, it is played from one side of a huge mound down to a fairway some 60 ft below and 260 yards from the tee. From the bottom of the slope the second shot is played over two bunkers to a raised green. With an intimate connection with the sea, this is a course that sweeps around bays and meanders through majestic dunes.

COUNTY LOUTH BALTRAY Located at Baltray, formerly a fisherman’s village at the mouth of the River Boyne, north of the medieval town of Drogheda, Co Louth Golf Club was established in 1892. Rated as the #10 best course in Ireland, the golf course sits on a 190 acre site of seaside links terrain and has built a reputation of being one of the finest and most enjoyable courses in Ireland. The present layout remains largely unchanged from the design laid out by renowned course architect Tom Simpson in 1938. A remarkable feature of the layout as it winds its way through the dunes is that the player seldom feels that any two holes play in exactly the same direction.

ROYAL PORTRUSH is a legendary links, ranked by Golf Magazine as the #12 course in the world, #4 outside the U.S. and #2 in all of Ireland, and will host the British Open Championships in 2019, the first Irish course in 60-years. Frequently referred to as the St. Andrews of Ireland, play started in 1888 with nine holes and was known as The Country Club. It was just one year later the course was extended to eighteen holes. This private club is one of the most challenging links golf courses in the world. Situated on the beautiful North Antrim Causeway, it has magnificent views in all directions. Old school golf prevails here as centuries of golf and history collide, another bucket list course to any golfer.

PORTSTEWART is located on the majestic North Antrim Coast where play started in 1894. This challenging course is known locally as the “Thistly Hollow.” Play goes through towering dunes and fabulous and natural links land.
