Thank you (times a million!) for addressing add/adhd at the beginning of the show.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE answer my question which I have typed at the end of this quick description of my background. I got to the computer as fast I could to write this to get your help. I could not call the show bc of responsibilities.
Background: I am 54 year-old woman, diagnosed by with add at age 50 – by a doctor. I also got a 2nd opinion that agreed that I have it. I have 3 adult children who are doing well. I have been married 30 years. I have gotten some help for add in my city. I have read about Dr. Amen, My initial thought was to go see him, get testing, and get direction and help.
QUESTION: What if I go see him and his brain scans of my brain say that I don’t have add? I know I have it, but I know I would feel better about the diagnosis if I would actually be told that it could be seen in a brain scan of which you were talking about on the show.
I need to get help for this as my journey with getting help has been difficult. I find that not many in the medical community know much about add – and I live in a city that has excellent medical resources for practically all other medical/psychological problems.
    Thank you very much.

Caroline calls every month with a question using a different name each time. (Paris, Sharon, Carol…..) Now she has taken to calling daily??? I know her real name, because she forgets her “call in” name and says “They said ‘Caroline’ you should….”. How is she grieving the loss of her mom, when she said that she called her mom for advice on Friday’s broadcast. Do you pay her to call in phantom calls? She has a certain cadence and drawl, that makes her voice very recognizable.

The show really needs to suggest to Caroline or whatever her call-in name is at that moment to get a permanent counselor. You are right Ronda, she calls in every day and I know darn well by now they know her and her alias’, She does need help—she’s now Sharon, poor dear, she really needs help and not from the show anymore it’s gone beyond that. No telling what’s next when she calls again, I bet her name will be Sybil and rightfully so. Can you say split personalities. Sorry, not being mean just very observant.

Wow! I did not get that impression. In fact, I found the way “Sharon” explained herself and the counseling given to be far superior than the norm. Perhaps I’m gullible. I do not listen to the drawl or cadence but more the content.
So without further adieu to New Life. A big thank you Milon and Jill for explaining true self love. And how we need to sooth ourselves. I was and am extremely blessed by all that you do and are. Merry Christmas!!!!! 🙂
