Steve, I agree with Dave regarding the caller who’s brother went to prison. My husband went to jail, then prison, for an alcohol related accident. It is a devastating time, especially when prison is foreign to your environment. I did stay with my husband throughout and was his advocate. Both before he went in, and after he came out, he had been deceiftul about drinking, spending, and womn. He was in a small group, professionally successful, close with our kids, active in church, etc… He was very good at living a double life, and prison gave him even more skills to accomplish that. Sadly, our divorce was recently finalized. Some of his secrets are now being revealed by others, but I had no idea! Please don’t blame this caller’s sister-in-law for her husband’s actions. Sometimes when the right things are done by one, that doesn’t mean that the other will do the same. She needs some strong Christian women around her to help her.
