  1. OH no!!! There are no safe counseling options in American public schools–sending a teenager to be counseled in public school system is very dangerous. The principles that the schools follow are not biblical principles.

    • Sending a teenager to a public school counselor is a poor choice in order to help that child. The public school system wants nothing to do with God and opposes His Word directly. How can one recommend this action?

  2. Regarding the last caller: I would like to enlighten the New Life show hosts on the ‘good ol’ boys club’ attitude of many black churches. If that isn’t enough, many times guys go there just to find women to prostitute. They know just enough scripture to impress one for a short time, also they are good at flattery and creating new relationships. (Read Proverbs about flattery.) But consider the fruits of these churches and preachers, making note of the inconsistencies. Some of them have NO BOUNDARIES whatsoever.

  3. I was pretty discouraged at hearing the lack of biblical instruction during the program. 2 Peter chapter 1 is awesome! It tells us that God, through his divine power, has given believers everything that they need to live life in a way that pleases Him! We dont need the temporary theories of man (aka psychology) to help us to live completely satisfied lives. I we really need the finding of secular psychology to help through the problems of life then I really feel badly for Paul and the other apostles who didnt study psychology… Psychology as a formal scientific study only came about in 1879 with Wilhelm Wundt.

  4. I do feel very strongly that if someone is in a posistion of teaching, and conseling and represents Christ, that they be very honest and transparent about their own struggles, fears, sin, short comings and victiories. This is not a one on one counsel, in which case it would not be appropriate to share their personal expreince unless they felt lead too. But how can a Christian not want to use their own struggles, and difficulties along with Gods grace to encourage others they may be fearful of or going through some of the very things they have themselves walked through. I don’t think she shouldn’t be on the show, but I think she is missing an opportunity to take what the enemy ment for evil and use it to uncover his lies and deciet, and how we too ca be trapped if we are not armed, guarded, accountable and in in God’s Word.
