Steve, I respect the fact that you’re trying to explain why this guy did what he did by killing the people in S.C. at Emmanuel AME Church. It was a racist, hateful, evil act. Please call it what it is/was regardless of his father who was just as racist and hate-filled, abusive to his wife and so on. I get it, the son absorbed that hate and abuse that he witnessed from his father but please don’t cover the truth up, this was a RACIST HATE ACT. I’m disappointed that you did call this what it really was.

Part II: of my first comment. I think I was either too excited or more disappointed at Steve’s comment. My last sentence should read: “I’m disappointed that you did not call this what it really was,” as far as the guy that did the killing at Emmanuel AME Church in S.C. We must continue praying and trusting God, through it all.

Dear Steve, I saw (and listened to) the recording of your sermon at Heartland Church and I sincerely thank you for feeding myself and others with the words God put upon you to speak to us. Had I listened to your sermon before placing my comment it truly would have been different because you really made it plain as to what happened and why. We all know this was a very hateful, racist act and there’s absolutely nothing that could change that fact, however, when I heard your comment on New Life you didn’t mention one thing about this being a racist act and I only commented on what I heard on New Life. I am going to continue listening to New Life and being a New Life member and I am proud to say that I am a member of New Life. You continue to bless me and others with the blessings of God that you and the show receive. Again, thank you for making it plain during your sermon at Heartland. Blessings, and may God continue filling you with all that you need to enrich his Kingdom.
