We are in transit today back to Colorado after a terrific weekend at the Battle of Women conference. I wish we could listen in, but I am thrilled to have gotten to be part of the weekend!!! I feel like I was able to zone in on some things I need to work on to get to a healthier place. I was the reluctant one whose boyfriend insisted I go to this because I’ve been so stuck in the pain of the past that is keeping me from fully facing forward. My guy knows me enough to know that I would have chickened out if he hadn’t come to cheerlead me through this process. I went through a lot of counseling to get things behind me the last few years since my divorce, but something still held me back I couldn’t quite identify. I’m leaving being today as we head to the airport those toxic and poisonous words spoken to me by that person who was not capable of love, never to give them acknowledgement again because I DO matter! Thank you, all of you lovely ladies, who got me to plug in, pulled me out of my shell when I normally have a difficult time bonding with other women. I’m ready now to do what I need to do.
