Here is the Every Man’s Battle testimony read by Steve on the radio:

A crisis situation is what brought me to EMB. I viewed this workshop as a “quick fix” for an extremely volatile home situation.

I now understand that there is no quick fix. My eyes have been opened to the grim realities of how I have been living my life. I have learned that there is an extreme human cost to my actions and unfortunately that cost was exacted out of people who have done nothing but care for me. Realizing this is a heavy burden, but this is where hope comes into play.

Beginning with the candor of Jason, the workshop leader, my defenses began to be stripped away. The group break-outs introduced me to a group of men who are walking a similar road. I have been able to take a deep look at myself-and see things that were hidden by shame, success, arrogance, and ego.

Sheri’s presentation was the most impactful message of the night. My actions have deeply wounded an undeserving victim. But this workshop has given me hope that there is a way to fix the mess that I have created, fix the damage I’ve inflicted on my companion, and rebuild my spiritual life.  – Bradley
