“Really bad history…?” Do you know about the Apostle Paul? Do you know he called himself “Chief of Sinners”? Is it wise to compare our sins or shortcomings, or faults, to our brother?

Maybe your father had secret sin in his life that you have no clue about.
I applaud Steve. He’s brave and transparent about his life. He loves God and works hard for The Big Cheese.

Do you remember what Jesus said, what he did? “They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, ‘All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!'” John 8:7

I’m putting my stone down… hope you choose to as well.

It’s true that we have to learn from our mistakes. When we are young and hormones are raging it causes confusion in us, so much that we really don’t know how to make good decisions. We think we are making the right decision, when it isn’t. We are making decisions based on what we need to learn and grow. I would believe that those who have experienced and learned the most will be the best people, even if their past wasn’t perfect. No one will have a perfect past, and if they did, they probably didn’t learn much.
