Thank you for sharing the story of loyal friends. It is a delight to watch Charlotte’s view of Jonathan’s heart and gift. It reminds me of God’s choice of David. I, unlike Simon, admire her bold character. Jonathan made it clear that it was Charlotte who gave him the courage to share his gift. Like Jonathan in the OT, she is concerned with the welfare of her friend first. As someone who struggles with a weight issue constantly, I feel his pain.
