This is the Healing is a Choice Workshop testimony Steve read on the radio today –

I have given up hating my dad this weekend and have given that hatred to God. I can’t handle it, but my Savior can. My father molested my two daughters when they were very small children for several years. Thank God for my supportive wife and pastor or I would be in jail for murder. I also gave up my hatred for my son-in-law that beat my daughter and grandchildren. I have asked God to give me the ability to see whatever is good in my son-in-law. I’m grateful to finally get rid of the hatred. It was hurting me and no one else. I’ll keep my little stone with me to keep Satan off my back and to prevent him from causing me to return to my painful hateful state. I gave praise to my God for He supplies all my needs in Christ Jesus, “therefore I pray that He will increase and I will decrease”. Thank you New Life Ministries for providing the guidance I needed to step out in faith. – Jim

This is the Marriage Solution Workshop testimony Steve read on the radio today –

Our marriage was stuck in repeating cycles of chaos, hurt, frustration and injury. The downward spiral of blame and wondering why all the help and attempts of repair weren’t working was pushing us toward divorce as the easiest and only repair. This New Life Marriage Weekend has been an answer to prayer! It has been truth and love in candid form. It has brought about a perspective change to each of us and given us tangible tools to see each other differently. This workshop has given us understanding as to why we do what we do and how to shift towards love and healing. I am leaving with a feeling of freedom, renewed hope, and an awareness of being washed in grace for myself and my spouse. – Christy

Here is the Women in the Battle workshop testimony Steve read on the radio today:

My life before coming to this weekend felt hopeless, like a roller coaster ride, depending on how my husband was doing. I was very insecure. This weekend has been healing and directing for me and it has given me the knowledge and belief that I am worthy of my husband’s love. I would tell any woman considering coming to WITB to come for yourself, regardless of the choices your husband is making. You will find strength to begin healing. – Karen

Here is the Women in the Battle workshop testimony Steve read on the radio today:

I have felt so alone, lost in my pain, and just been migrating from one thing to the next task-in a trauma-induced state. I have been unable to “process” anything. I have felt lost, even suicidal. This weekend has been safe and so reassuring that I am not the only one who has lived or is living with a sexually addicted spouse. It has been a blessing to have carved-out this time with the small group and counselor. We could share without distractions and interruptions. WITB and EMB are tremendous tools and blessings. I leave here with tools and understanding of getting centered and less emotionally sad—and more anger so I can deal specifically with issues. I have been able to find my voice which was lost long ago—and to work on a plan for my safety and sanity. To any woman considering this weekend, I would tell her GO!! Do anything to be attend.  – Lisa

Here is the Women in the Battle workshop testimony Steve read on the radio today:

I felt overwhelmed and raw after decades of counseling, but I still had no clear understanding of what I actually could do in my particular situation. This weekend has been so eye opening and packed with great insight, wisdom, and useful information.  My perception has shifted.  Sheri’s explanations made so much sense and were helpful by linking everything to God’s word and promises. I am leaving with new ideas on what I can do to take care of myself, and exactly what enabling behaviors I need to stop doing.  I also have information about how my brain is affected by trauma.  I know now that I am not crazy or going overboard with my reactions to betrayal.  I have a list of resources to deal with and apply to these reactions.  I can move forward now. Do whatever you can to come and get healing and help in dealing with the lying, cheating, addicted, foolish behaviors of your husband.  If money is an obstacle call and ask for financial help–but come! Come! Come! – Anita
