More about the event
What Makes Our Outing Different
What makes our outing different is the mixture of golf, fellowship, and daily bible teachings on the topic of fathering, marriage, and family legacy as only New Life can provide.
This outing is for a special group of men who share a love of golf and a passion for making a difference in our culture. This time will allow us to minister to you as sons, fathers, grandfathers and father-figures; as well as to allow us to share with you in a personal way how God is uniquely using New Life.

Accommodations
We will be staying in the LODGE at STREAMSONG.
Modern (almost futuristic), stylish and meticulous in detail, the lodge is an architectural masterpiece designed to complement the surrounding landscape. Extra-large guestrooms with plush custom furnishings, and modern amenities to ensure every detail for a perfect relaxing stay.
The Courses
THE CHAIN – Streamsong’s fourth course, a 19-hole short course. Each hole has teeing areas (instead of tee markers) with dragline chains (the course namesake) in the ground to mark the beginning and end of each teeing area with holes ranging from 110 – 293 yards.
“There are all sorts of holes that are very unusual of shorter length, and players will really enjoy it and say this is not like a pitch and putt, there’s some real golf there. We think it’s going to be a great amenity and people will enjoy it too.” – Ben Crenshaw, Course Architect, The Chain
Large dragline chain links similar to those used in the mining process on the Streamsong site. Marking the middle of the site (and The Bucket putting course) is a 22,000 pound dragline bucket as a constant reminder of the history of its location.
THE BLACK COURSE – Ranked #28 on Golf Digests Top Courses You Can Play and Golf Digests 2018 Best New Golf Course of the year. Par 73 championship layout offering breathtaking views of the vast landscape, which includes flowing elevation, rolls, tumbles and sand ridges akin to the Sand Belt Region of Melbourne, Australia.
“The scale and shape of this landscape and the creative design features we were able to incorporate into this layout make Streamsong Black a fun and strategic course to play”. – Gil Hanse, Architect, Streamsong Black
The iconic windmill that marks the aiming point to the ninth hole’s punchbowl green was incorporated into a unique type treatment to create the logo for Streamsong Black. Aim at the windmill from the ninth tee and you’ll always find the fairway.
THE BLUE COURSE – Ranked #24 on Golf Digests Top Courses You Can Play, where you will find multiple elevation changes, fairways navigating wild grasses and deep-water ponds and huge bunkers that roll off of towering sand dunes.
“This is such a good piece of land for golf. The variety of contours created by the mining process is unique for a project in Florida–or anywhere in the Southeast.” – Tom Doak, Architect, Streamsong Blue
The Streamsong Blue Megalodon logo pays tribute to the giant shark that roamed the deep blue seas many millions of years ago when the area where Streamsong Resort lies was covered by oceans. Look closely during your next round and you might find your own shark tooth in the native areas surrounding the course.
THE RED COURSE – Ranked #18 on Golf Digests Top Courses You Can Play, designed by the legendary team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, Streamsong Red winds through decades-old sand dunes, lakes and natural bunkers brings drama and strategy into play on each spectacular hole.
“…some of the most unusual, interesting and dramatic land forms we have ever encountered…the landscape is different than anything we’ve ever worked with.” – Ben Crenshaw, Architect, Streamsong Red
The Streamsong Red Locomotive logo honors the history that the railways served in transporting phosphate from this site for decades. Recently an 1880’s era steam engine was unearthed during a mining operation and now sits at the Mulberry Phosphate Museum for all to see.
