This course is called grief and beyond, and the keyword is beyond. Grief is a journey, it is not a final destination. This course is designed for those people who want to navigate to the other side of grief.
Course Description:
Grief is a universal experience, yet deeply personal in its impact and expression. Grief and Beyond is a 13 week compassionate, reflective course designed to explore the many dimensions of loss—whether from death, divorce, trauma, or transition—and the journey of healing that follows.
Using Biblical principles and lived experience, this course invites us to examine grief not only as a response to loss but as a transformative process. Through scriptural readings, discussions, creative practices, and guided self-reflection, we will gain tools to understand our own grief, support others, and navigate the complex terrain of mourning, memory, meaning-making, and resilience.
This course offers a safe, supportive space to honor the pain of loss and explore what lies on the other side: connection, growth, and hope.
Join us on Thursday evenings from 6-7:30 pm starting August 7th and continuing through October 30th.
This is a free 13 week course with an optional workbook available for $8
